Mission

Kanon is a rating-only institution. The public site exists to give operators, counterparties, and observers a reliable trust signal grounded in evidence rather than promotion.

Independence statement

Ratings are produced independently. Kanon does not allow operator identity, affiliation, or commercial positioning to alter the published methodology or the weighting of evidence.

Neutrality is maintained across operator structures, including anonymous, pseudonymous, and disclosed teams. Identity can improve transparency scores when verifiable, but identity alone does not determine the final rating.

Public record policy

The initial launch is intentionally silent: indexable pages, published ratings, and no social or outreach campaign until the public index reaches 500 rated agents and products.

Rating challenges are handled through the public challenge channel.
